Grapefruit Collins

Grapefruit and rosemary are an absolutely delicious combination, especially with this herbaceous garnish. Bartender Christie Knight knows the importance of drink garnish. You smell the aroma of your drink before it hits your lips, which strongly affects how you taste it.  Christie made this with Tanqueray 0.0% but you can just as easily swap for Tanqueray London Dry, or Tanqueray 10.

Ingredients

  • 50mlGin 0.0%

  • 50mlFresh grapefruit juice

  • 10mlSimple syrup

  • 25mlGrapefruit Juice

  • 1Soda water

  • 1Rosemary sprig

Equipment

  • 1 x Highball glass

     

  • 1 x Jigger

  • 1 x Ice

  • 1 x Chopping Board

  • 1 x Knife

Method

  • Mix

    Add 50ml gin 0.0% to a highball glass, with 50ml fresh pink grapefruit juice and 10ml simple syrup. Stir well. Add ice to the glass, stir again, then top the glass with soda water. 

     

  • Garnish

    Garnish with a rosemary sprig.

  • Grab a bite

    Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
