Frontier Whisky

Bulleit Bourbon

Bulleit

Out in Front(ier)

Think Kentucky only knows how to fry chicken? Think again. Bulleit Bourbon is the classic frontier whisky, served straight from America's heartland and made using a family recipe dating back over 150 years.

How Bulleit hits the target

Bulleit is distilled, aged and bottled in the traditional home of bourbon - Kentucky USA. It breaks bourbon traditions thanks to its unique high-rye recipe which gives its distinct flavour.

The unmistakable taste of Bulleit Bourbon come from its unique blend of rye, corn, and barley malt, along with special strains of yeast and pure Kentucky limestone filtered water. The signature spicy character and smooth finish comes from its unusually high rye content.

A chapter of American history

Bulleit was nearly over before it began.

Augustus Bulleit, a tavern keeper in 1830s Kentucky, experimented with countless recipes before he established his winning formula.

Then, as history has it, while transporting his barrels to New Orleans, Augustus Bulleit vanished. What happened is still unknown, and his creation nearly disappeared into history along with him. Luckily, it didn't... but the mystery remains!

Decades later, in 1987, Thomas E. Bulleit, Jr., fulfilled a lifelong dream and revived the work of his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit.

Leaving a life of law for a life a new frontier - an adventure in exceptional American whisky - Tom established the modern Bulleit Distilling Company.
