Marmalade Collins

A delicious mix of zesty flavours, the Marmalade Collins is also one of the easiest cocktails you’ll ever make. In just under 60 seconds you can blend pure, clear vodka with sweet and sour in a jam jar for a great serve. Lay out the ingredients & jam jar

What you’ll need

  • Caster Sugar tsp splash sprinkle sprig twist dash

  • Marmalade tsp splash sprinkle sprig twist dash
    1
  • Lemon Juice
    25ml
  • Lemon Wedge
    1
  • Soda Water
    1ml
1.9 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Tall glass
  • 1 x Spoon
  • 1 x Knife
  • 1 x Jigger
  • 1 x Chopping board
  • 1 x Jar

Method

Pour

Using a jigger, measure 50ml vodka, 25ml lemon juice, 1 tsp caster sugar and 1 tsp marmalade into a jam jar.  

Ice

Fill the rest of the jam jar with ice cubes.

Mix

Screw the lid tightly onto the jam jar and shake the mixture until the surface of the jam jar feels chilled.Unscrew the lid of the jam jar and top with a little more ice and some soda water.

Garnish

Using a sharp knife and a chopping board, cut a wedge of lemon and place on top of the drink to garnish.

Step 5

Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
