Jenner Cormier's Jimmy Dean Cocktail Recipe
A whisky cocktail that’s drawn from a forest landscape, Jimmy Dean by Jenner Cormier has the deep, rich, smooth flavours of Johnnie Walker® Blue Label plus delicious homemade pear oak bitters and smoked wood for a taste of the wilds.
What you’ll need
Ingredients
- Johnnie Walker® Platinum Blended Scotch Whisky10ml
- Johnnie Walker® Blue Label® Blended Scotch Whisky45ml
- Pear Oak Bitters dash1ml
- Lillet Blanc20ml
- Rosemary sprig twist dash1
- Spruce sprig twist dash1
- Hickory Chips3ml
Method
Pour
Using a jigger, measure 1 dash pear oak bitters, 20ml Lillet Blanc, 10ml Johnnie Walker Platinum Label Whisky, and 45ml Johnnie Walker Blue Label Whisky into a cocktail shaker.
Mix
Add cubes of ice to the shaker and stir thoroughly using a bar spoon until well combined. Strain with a cocktail strainer into a tumbler.
Garnish
Fill a small bowl with a sprig of spruce, a sprig of rosemary and a handful of hickory chips, and set alight with a match or blowtorch. Present alongside the tumbler containing the drink.

Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
