Glitterball Cocktail Recipe
Subtly sweet, tangily sour and with a delicious edge of elderflower, the Glitterball is an enticingly flavoured cocktail, served in a champagne flute, that’s perfect for celebrating.
What you’ll need
Ingredients
- Johnnie Walker® Gold Label Reserve40ml
- Elderflower Cordial20ml
- Sour Syrup15ml
- Soda Water30ml
Equipment
- 1 x Champagne glass
- 1 x Cocktail Shaker
- 1 x Bar Spoon
- 1 x Jigger
- 1 x Peeler
- 1 x Strainer
- 1 x Ice
Method
Ice
Fill a mixing glass with cubes of ice.
Pour
Using a jigger, measure 40ml Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, 20ml elderflower cordial and 15ml sour syrup into the shaker.
Mix
Using a barspoon, stir the ingredients together for 20 seconds, until fully combined. Strain the mixture into a champagne glass using a cocktail strainer. Add 30ml soda water to top up.
Garnish
Using a vegetable peeler, cut a twist of orange peel, and curl onto the top of the glass.
Step 5
Get some grub in before or while you’re drinking – it slows alcohol absorption.
