Erik Lorincz's One Night

With depth of flavour and perfect balance, One Night is a cocktail with credentials. It’s the creation of Erik Lorincz, head bartender at The American Bar at The Savoy and a former World Class Bartender of the Year.

What you’ll need

Ingredients

2 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • 1 x Short Glass
  • 1 x Strainer
  • 1 x Cocktail shaker
  • 1 x Juicer
  • 1 x Ice

Method

Ice

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

Pour

Using a jigger, measure 45ml Single Malt Whisky, 10ml Pimento Dram, 10ml lemon juice, 35ml sugar syrup and a dash of egg white into the shaker.

Mix

Shake the mixture until the surface of the cocktail shaker feels chilled. Use a cocktail strainer to strain the mixture into a short glass.

Garnish

Add a few drops of aromatic bitters on top of the drink, and spritz over some violet spray for garnish.
