Sweet Manhattan

Sophisticated, simple and just a little bit sweet, the Manhattan is the ultimate whiskey cocktail. This variation uses Bulleit Bourbon for a bold, spicy serve.

3.1 units of alcohol per serving

Equipment

  • Rocks glass
  • Jigger
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Strainer
  • Bar spoon

Method

Ice

Using a jigger, measure all liquid ingredients and add them to an ice-filled mixing glass.

Mix

Using a bar spoon, stir it slowly to mix until the mixture is chilled and diluted. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish

Garnish with a cherry and orange zest discard.
