Wimbledon drinks and snacks for a Grand slam party
Get ready for Wimbledon
The world’s oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament, Wimbledon is synonymous with British summer – crisp whites, refreshing beverages and, very likely, unexpected rainstorms.
But nothing will dampen your Wimbledon party when you’ve got a delicious serving of cocktails and canapés.
While tennis champions like Emma Raducanu and Novak Djokovic demonstrate their finest serves on the courts, you can showcase your best serves when it comes to Wimbledon drinks and snacks for the perfect home viewing experience. We’ve got you covered to make sure it’s a grand slam.
Firstly... master the Pimm's Cup
It goes without saying that Pimm’s is the signature Wimbledon drink. It’s summery, it’s full of tradition and it’s oh-so British. Dating back to 1840’s London, this drink is incredibly simple to make.
YOU'LL NEED
50ml Pimm's No.1
150ml Lemonade
2 Sliced Strawberries (Garnish)
2 Orange Wheels (Garnish)
2 Slices of Cucumber (Garnish)
1 Sprig of Mint (Garnish).
TO MAKE
Drop the fruit into a highball (or wine glass)
Add Pimm’s, top with cubed ice
Churn with a bar spoon before topping with lemonade
Stir gently, garnish with a mint sprig.
Stock up for summer

The Vodka Martini
A pairing smoother than the lawn on Centre Court! The Vodka Martini embodies the timeless elegance and refinement that resonates with the prestigious atmosphere of Wimbledon. 10ml Dry Vermouth.
TO MAKE
Add Cîroc and vermouth to an ice filled shaker and shake.
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass
Express a lemon zest and discard, garnish with 3 frozen green grapes on a cocktail pick.
Top tip: for a ‘match’ made in heaven (yes, that’s a tennis pun), the citrusy notes of this signature cocktail will go perfectly with other sophisticated flavours including smoked salmon and fluffy blinis.

Paloma
Sure, Wimbledon might feel very British but you might be championing the likes of Carlos Alcaraz. For flavours with a bit more kick, try a classic Paloma. It’s the right blend between tart and a treat.

20ml pink grapefruit juice
10ml lime juice
10ml agave syrup
Grapefruit soda
Wedge of grapefruit.
TO MAKE
Fill a highball glass with ice
Pour in your tequila, followed by lime juice and agave syrup

Bramble
Blackberries grow wild across Britain in the summer, and for many, the sweet fruit is evocative of lazy, hazy summer days – be it eaten from the branch or made into a jam.
The Bramble cocktail is never better, therefore, than in the height of summer – just in time for Wimbledon. A well-balanced mix of gin, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and blackberry liqueur, as a great tip, this is a perfect afternoon cocktail to serve alongside scones and pastries.
YOU'LL NEED
45ml Tanqueray London Dry
30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
12.5ml sugar syrup
12.5ml Crème de Mûre (blackberry liqueur)
Crushed ice
Fresh blackberry and lemon slice for garnish.
TO MAKE
Add Tanqueray, lemon and sugar syrup to a cocktail shaker
Fill with cubed ice and shake well
Strain into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice, pour Crème de Mure over the top
Garnish with lemon slice and a fresh blackberry.

Wimbledon snacks
All those crisp, summer cocktails go perfectly with dishes primed for the sunshine and a lazy afternoon watching people work up a sweat.
Strawberries and Cream
No need to overcomplicate it, it’s a Wimbledon staple for a reason! Serve plump strawberries with whipped cream or a dollop of clotted cream.
Afternoon tea inspired snacks
Perfect for something like Wimbledon, stick with the British theme with some dainty snacks. Light, moreish, and easy to whip up. Stick with some of the refined classics, including cucumber sandwiches, smoked fish, quiches, sausage rolls, cheese platters and scones for a perfect picky-bits spread.
