Smoky Cranberry Mezcal Madras

The end of the calendar year marks cranberry season and cranberry sauce is set to take the stage at millions of dinner tables during the holidays. Casamigos Mezcal, sweet orange liqueur and fresh pressed lime juice get a Thanksgiving-influenced, cranberry sauce-inspired tone in this seasonal riff.

  • Casamigos Mezcal
    1.5oz
  • Orange Liqueur
    1oz
  • Lime Juice
    0.5oz
  • Cranberry Juice
    1oz
  • Sugared Cranberry
    To garnish

Method

  1. Step 1

    Using a sharp knife and cutting board, slice the lime in half.

  2. Step 2

    Using a citrus reamer, press lime juice out into a cup or bowl and set aside.

  3. Step 3

    Add mezcal, orange liqueur, lime juice, cranberry juice and ice to a cocktail shaker.

  4. Step 4

    Shake until thoroughly chilled and strain into a coupe glass.

  5. Step 5

    Drop in sugared cranberries to garnish.
