A bottle of Tanqueray No. Ten gin next to a cocktail glass with a cherry garnish, surrounded by plates of fresh vegetables, fruit, and flowers on a patterned table.

This pre-Prohibition, equal-parts cocktail adds up to more than the sum of its seemingly eccentric ingredients: Tanqueray No. TEN Gin, herbal green liqueur, sweet maraschino liqueur and lime juice. It’s got both sweet and sour notes and an added depth and complexity from the herbal liqueur that grounds the cocktail with an earthy base.
