Beerleader Strawberry Vodka Spritz (Beer Spritz)

This dressed-up take on a classic large-batch porch-crawler cocktail is an essential game-day drink. Sweet, sour and delightfully effervescent, this is the perfect drink to enjoy while cheering on your team. Though similar cocktails are often served in red solo cups, this is the classy version and therefore deserves real fruit, a real glass and Ketel One Vodka.

  • Ketel One Vodka
    1oz
  • Light Beer
    3oz
  • Lemon Juice
    0.5oz
  • Strawberries
    Muddled
    3
  • Basil Leaf Garnish
    1-2

Method

  1. Step 1

    On a cutting board and using a sharp knife, hull three ripe strawberries, and add them to an empty highball glass.

  2. Step 2

    Add vodka and lemon juice, and gently muddle. For a more botanical flavor, muddle in 1-2 basil leaves, as well.

  3. Step 3

    Add crushed ice to cover.

  4. Step 4

    Pour cold, light beer into the glass at a 45° angle to keep it as carbonated as possible.

  5. Step 5

    Gently stir to combine and garnish with basil leaves.
