A hand with red nails rests on a pink table with two cocktails, a red rose, a glass pitcher, and heart-shaped candies, set against a red velvet curtain.

You're lounging in your favourite chair, the day has been long, and wish to have a cocktail. Enter, roses! Roses aren't just pretty flowers for romantic gestures. They can be the secret sauce that takes cocktails from ordinary to extraordinary. If you're up for adding a floral finish to your drinks, dive into some seriously delicious rose-infused concoctions. Get ready to feel like you've stepped into an edible garden with these rose cocktail recipes.

Rosemary & Blackberry Whisky Sour

For those who like their cocktails with a bit of bite, we've got the Rosemary & Blackberry Whisky Sour. This bold concoction pairs the rich smokiness of Black & White Whisky with the tart sweetness of blackberries, all tied together with a hint of rosemary syrup. It's a drink that's as complex and intriguing as you are.

Add 60 ml Black & White Whisky, 30 ml blackberry syrup, 15 ml rosemary syrup and 30 ml lemon juice to a shaker. Shake it like you mean it. A rosemary sprig and blackberry for garnish will take the cocktail to the next level.

Rosy Gin Fizz

A pink cocktail with ice cubes and a small rose garnish in a martini glass, placed next to a vase with a pink rose on a white surface.

Take Tanqueray Gin, about 40 ml and add 20 ml of your rose syrup (because we're fancy and we make our own), and then, because we're also a bit extra, throw in 15 ml of elderflower liqueur. It's like adding a note to a song—a bit unexpected, but it makes all the difference. The crispness and subtle sweetness of the rose syrup, topped off with a splash of soda for a bubbly finish.. Garnish with rose petals and you’re all set.

Blushing Vodka Martini

Next on the list is a cocktail that's as elegant as it is easy to make – the Blushing Vodka Martini. We're swapping out the traditional vermouth for a hint of rose liqueur, giving this classic cocktail a romantic twist. It's smooth, sophisticated, and guaranteed to leave you feeling like the star of your own black-and-white movie. Add 60 ml Ketel One Vodka with 15 ml rose liqueur. Throw in a dash of orange bitters. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Rosé Spritz

A pink iced drink with black straws, garnished with rosebuds, sits on a textured surface with lime wedges and rosebuds scattered nearby.

If you want something light and bubbly, the Rosé Spritz is your go-to. This sparkling cocktail combines the fruity notes of Johnnie Walker Mixer with the floral sweetness of rosé wine, finished with a splash of soda water. To make it, mix Johnnie Walker Mixer with 60 ml of rosé wine, top with soda water, and garnish with a twist of lemon.

Rose & Ginger ball

Pour about Johnnie Walker Black Label 50 ml into your shaker. Now, here: mix in homemade rose syrup (it's just sugar, water, and rose petals simmered down to a sweet whisper of summer). About 15 ml should do. Squeeze in some lemon juice for that sharp bite. Shake it like you're ringing on the weekend, strain it into a glass that feels right for the evening, and top it with a splash of soda.

So, there you have it—five rose cocktail recipes to elevate your drink game and add a touch of floral flair to your next soirée.
