Big-Batch Cocktails: The 7 Best Gin Recipes

Big-batch cocktails are the trend. And why not? It is a flexible setup when one is serving a large group. As the events have ushered in, there will be a lot more hosting. That’s where these gin-based batch cocktails will come in as an adaptable option. These recipes are for gin-based big-batch cocktails that serve about eight people.  

The Classic G&T

For this big batch of the most iconic gin cocktail, you’ll need 240 ml of Gordon's The Original London Dry Gin, 950 ml of tonic water, ice cubes, and 6 limes cut up into wedges. In a large pitcher, put some ice cubes. Then pour in the gin, tonic water, and lime wedges and stir gently. Then pour the mixture into highball glasses filled with ice. Viola! It’s so easy and takes no more than 10 minutes to make. 

The Gin & Cucumber Cooler

This is the perfect cocktail to serve on a summer day. You’ll need 240 ml of Gordon's The Original London Dry Gin, half a large cucumber sliced thinly, 80 ml of fresh lemon juice, 60 gms of sugar or 40 ml of honey, and 900 ml of soda water. First, in a large pitcher, muddle the honey and cucumber slices or sugar. Then, add the gin, lime juice, and soda water and stir gently. Then, fill Collins glasses with ice and pour the mixture in. 

The Gin and Ginger Peach Fizz

For this cocktail, you will need 240 ml of Gordon's The Original London Dry Gin, 4 peach slices, 100 ml of orange juice and 200 ml of ginger beer. Also, add some orange slices and grated ginger for garnish. First, muddle the peaches in a large pitcher. Then pour in the gin, and orange juice and stir well. Then, in wine glasses filled with ice, pour the mixture, top it off with ginger beer and garnish with ginger and orange slices. 

Elderflower Gin Fizz

If you prefer elderflower, this is the cocktail for you. For this, you’ll need 240 ml of Gordon's The Original London Dry Gin, 120 ml of elderflower liqueur, 80 ml of fresh lime juice, 60 gms of sugar, and 300 ml of soda water. Combine the gin, lime juice, and elderflower liqueur in a large pitcher. Then, pour the mixture into Collins glasses over ice and top it off with the soda water.

Gin & Lavender Lemonade

For this making drink, you’ll need 240 ml of Gordon’s, 200 ml of fresh lemon juice, 80 ml of lavender syrup, soda water, and lemon slices or lavender sprigs for garnish. First, in a large pitcher, combine the gin, lemon juice, and lavender syrup. Then, in Collins glasses filled with ice, pour the mixture, top off with the soda water and garnish with lemon slices or sprigs of lavender. 

Gin & Blood Orange Sparkler

For this cocktail, you’ll need 240 ml of Gordon’s, 300 ml of fresh blood orange juice, 80 ml of fresh lime juice, 70 ml of honey, and orange twists for garnish. First, mix the gin, blood orange juice, lime juice, and honey in a large pitcher filled with ice. Then, pour the mixture into highball glasses filled with ice and garnish with orange twists. 

Gin & Green Tea Cooler

For this cocktail, you’ll need to brew about 10 bags of green tea, allow it to chill to room temperature and refrigerate it in the fridge for two hours. Once that’s done, you’ll need 240 ml of Gordon’s, 80 ml of lemon juice, 60 ml of honey, and mint leaves or lemon slices for garnish. First, in a large pitcher filled with ice, combine the gin, fresh lemon juice, chilled green tea and honey. Then pour it into Collins glasses filled with ice and garnish with mint leaves of lemon slices.
