An exceptional taste experience
The Talisker family all have a peated, smoky flavour. This quality comes from the peat burned during the malting process and carries on it the salted smoke of an island battered by wind and waves. Beneath the smoke you’ll find soft fruits and cereal notes, with a distinctive peppery finish
Skye is a fresher, brighter cousin to the Talisker 10 Year Old, with fresh citrus bursts and underlying sweetness, matured in a combination of refill and toasted American oak casks for depth of flavour. To learn more and for a guided tasting experience, just ask Alexa ‘open Talisker tasting’.
The first glorious citrus sweetness of fresh oranges develops into soft mango. Maritime air with seaweed, driftwood, and salt continue under.
Bright 18 carat gold with polished copper lights.
Soft and sweet at first, coating and tongue tingling, with light smoke. Quickly becomes more pungent and savoury with a hot spiciness.
Drier and of medium-length, with a lasting, smooth aftertaste, in which light peaty burnt embers can be found.

A bit of history
Founded by the intrepid MacAskill brothers, Talisker 10 Year Old has been produced since 1830 at the oldest distillery on the rugged, yet beautiful Isle of Skye in Scotland. Its unique smell and taste instantly connects you to its maritime home.
It’s double-distilled which gives it the rich, deep character, embodying the maritime characteristics of a coastal whisky and then aged for a minimum of 10 years in American oak casks."
