Edna Valley Vineyard Paragon Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc, San Luis Obispo County

Edna Valley wines are aged mainly in French oak barrels selected for their complementary qualities. In short, they use an artisan's approach to New World winemaking. They focus on estate-grown Chardonnay and we have a strong commitment to producing Pinot Noir, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon using new varietal clones.

Tasting Notes

The Edna Valley Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc captures the essence of California style-bright tropical aromas framed by vibrant grapefruit and lofty honeysuckle. Dried apricot, pineapple and guava center the wine’s prominent mid-palate accented by limestone and orange zest. Subtle hints of cut grass and fresh rain linger on the finish.

Food Pairings

A balance of ripe fruit and gripping acidity pairs nicely with raw oysters, crostinis with goat cheese or halibut topped with mango salsa.
