Tasting Notes
Aromas of cherries and blackberries lead the nose, followed by heavy accents of vanilla and mocha. Juicy black stonefruit develops through the middle, held together by well-integrated tannins that grip the back of the tongue and mingle with blackberry and mocha through the long, lingering finish.
The round body and ripe, fruit-forward style of this wine make a nice accompaniment to rich, spicy Mediterranean pasta or slow-roasted duck with sage.
