Tasting Notes
Redolent aromas of blackberry and bing cherry anchor high notes of toasted oak in our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon. Across the palate, ripe tannins knit together layers of black forest fruit and subtle spice that build the core of this medium-bodied wine. Cherry pie flavors linger through finish accented by baking spice.
The bold flavors and supple mouthfeel of this wine pair well with similarly-styled dishes such as peppercorn steak, stuffed mushrooms, or hamburgers topped with a creamy blue cheese.
